St.Martin’s Engineering College and Street Cause has organized a plantation drive. The dignitaries present on the occasion were Executive Director Sri.G.Chandra Sekhar Yadav, Principal Dr.P.Santosh Kumar Patra. Over 100 saplings were planted. Speaking on the occasion Principal Dr.P.Santosh Kumar Patra, “I am honored to be present here and we have pledged to make the environs beautiful and green. Tree plantation is very important for the community and this initiative will go a long way in inculcating awareness among the people about environment conservation. Let us all resolve to use only cloth bags and make our country a polythene free zone emphasizing the need to protect and conserve the environment. I am happy to see the high enthusiasm exhibited by the students who have come forth for the drive. Let us all pledge not only to plant trees but also nurture them. One can see the success of last year’s plantation drive inside the campus with plants having grown sizably tall.
